He has wonderful sense of humor and he can draw such a strong female charachters in his books. His girls are no ninnies and that is cool. ;)

Of his magical story telling abilities at the both written and visual level. Last I saw Kiki.

His movies, espesially the “Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi” have made me more interested in general Japanese culture, although I had known some japanese people before.

Again excellent story teller, althoug some of his movies are little scary.

You can notice there are at least couple of directors in my list ?!

He is both brave man, dedicated for freedom of speech and amazing story teller – I hoped to learn to write with as authentic voice and be able to tell stories as vividly.

She makes magical movies on the issues that matter. She is rather young woman, who has been able to make a career in rather masculin field. She is honest to herself, but does not make a big noise of what she does. Seems like a really nice person, yet how would I know, as I never met her – so I would like to find out, if she is really.

She is able to include real issues in the form of fantasy and science fiction. Her books are eye opening and philosophical. She uses to form of fantasy not just to tell a story, but also to make a point, like the best quality fantasy always does.

His books are both magical and down to earth in the same time, in surreal way. A beautiful storyteller. I would love to be able to write as well as he does.

Because she is not afraid to be as she is and not bother of the stupid comments on her weight.

He is the right guy, in the right time and in the right place.
